Annotation: H-net is an international group of scholars who exchange ideas, resources, and information. This is done primarily through the more than 100 electronic newsletters or lists on a myriad of topics in the humanities and social sciences. The September 11 page includes information on how to address tragedy in the classroom, and several threads of discussion in various lists. The six highlighted discussions include journalism history, Hapsburg, history of the early republic, diplomatic history, radical history, and war history. Each category includes a link to the discussion group’s homepage and the logs for September and October.
Excerpt: H-Net's many online communities are offering diverse and informed perspectives on the meaning of the events of 11 September.
