Annotation: The National Security Archive collected at George Washington University includes documents that provide background on terrorism and the United States. The documents are divided into five categories, including Terrorism and Usama bin Laden, Congressional Research Service Reports, General Accounting Office Reports, Department of Defense Directives, Instructions, and Statements, and Presidential Directives and Executive Orders. Each category contains from four to ten documents, which date from the early 1980s through the 1990s
